A Thousand Words

Epiphany

Maybe it was the +36 temps. Or the humidity. Or the seven precarious bridges on the way. Or the floppy hat with polar bears that I swallowed my pride and wore.

But that walk to Shamida’s house was more than a walk – it was a reality check.
