Pause That Refreshes

Take 52 Week #1: Revitalize

New year, new challenge! It is so nice to be back into my normal routine, including taking pictures.

This week has been cold. If you read here during the challenge last year, that’s not a shock. But Sunday, we hit a new low. When we woke up Sunday morning, it was -51°C with the windchill. -40′s we typically hit several times a winter, but there is something about seeing the negative 50′s that just makes you want to crawl back under the covers. But like the Canadian (storm) troopers that we are, it was business as usual.

Today we got some relief from the deep freeze in the form of -20′s, and most importantly, sunshine. I can handle almost anything if the sun is shining. The snowflake hanging in my window reflected the white of the snow in my yard and the yellow of a bright, beautiful sun.
